McColl, SC
Sarah Elizabeth Graham Goff, age 76 of McColl, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Sarah was born March 17, 1948, in Bennettsville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Murdock and Dora Turner Graham. Sarah was a fun-loving person. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing cards, and bingo. Sarah also loved to dance. Her favorite dance was "The Twist". Sarah could be found most days sitting in the breezeway with friends, drinking coffee in the morning and Pepsi in the afternoon. She enjoyed watching soap operas and the news. Family was the biggest part of Sarah's life. She loved to cook Sunday dinners for them, which always included her homemade biscuits. Sarah will always be remembered as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Goff; brothers, Wayne Graham, Charles "Sonny" Graham, and Murdock "Duke" Graham, Jr.; sisters, Betty Stubbs, Doris Penfield, and Patricia Remmick.
Sarah is survived by her son, Charles Goff (Robin) of McColl; a daughter, Hope Goff Smith of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith of Laurinburg, Ashley Smith of Tatum, Josh Goff of McColl, and Mike Goff of Clio; three great grandchildren, Sequoiya Smith, Ke'Mani Brown, and Levi Goff; special caregiver, Rae Evers of McColl; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at McColl Church of God.
Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home.
