Mr. Michael Leo Jackson passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg after a brief illness. He was 68 years old.
Michael was born in Dillon, SC on June 29, 1956, to the late Limmy Leo and Aileen Norton Jackson. He attended Kingdom Life World Outreach. He was an Inmate Transportation Driver for the Dillon County Jail. He loved hunting, watching deer, putting corn out, spending time on his farm, flipping stuff to sell, going to auctions, Clemson Football, Dillon Wildcats, going to the bluff to watch the water, and spending time with his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Wanda Smith Jackson; son, Michael Blake Jackson; stepdaughter, Amy Freeman (Terry); sister, Linda Moody; step-grandchildren, Peyton Freeman and Aubree Freeman; nephew, Brandon Moody (Nikki); great-niece, Ruthie Moody.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and Father-in-law, Elmer Smith.
The family will be holding a memorial service Friday, January 31, 2025, at Kingdom Life World Outreach, officiated by Rev. Dr. Eddie Pruitt.
