Sarah Hopper was born on May 29, 1943 in California, the daughter of the late Ova and Martha Jewel Rushing Pearson. 

On September 19, 1962, she was united in marriage to James Henry Hopper, who survives.

Sarah worked for Tennessee River Manufacturing as a seamstress. She was of the Pentecostal Belief and had been involved in Ministry since 1971. Sarah loved fishing, crocheting, sitting with children in the neighborhood, her family, and going to Church and serving her Lord. She will be remembered as a grandmother to all.

Sarah Hopper departed this life on September 22, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 24 days. 

She is survived by her husband, James "Buck" Hopper of Crump, Tennessee; son, Jamie Hopper (Renda) of Counce, Tennessee; and niece, Tammy Jerrolds (Bryce) of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Hopper Siler; and sister, Sandra Jacobson.
