With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Sarah Jeanne Johns announces her passing on December 13, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on January 2, 1986, in Lexington, Kentucky, Sarah's life was defined by her boundless love for her family, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering faith.
Sarah's heart was one of compassion, strength, and quiet resilience. She was a devoted mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend-someone whose warmth made every room feel lighter. Her greatest joy was her children, whom she cherished with every part of her being. She loved deeply, cared openly, and touched countless lives with her kindness.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Aubrey Jeanne, whose memory she carried tenderly throughout her life; her maternal grandparents, Betty Jeanne Soule and Robert William Soule; her father, Randey Eugene Johns; her paternal grandparents, Bernice Crowe and John Crowe; and her paternal grandfather, Ernest Johns.
Sarah's legacy lives on through those who loved her most: her mother, Carolyn Jeanne Johns; her brother, Erik Randall Johns, along with his wife Elissa and their daughters, Camille Ann and Gracie Rose; her husband, Tyler Brown; her mother-in-law, Misha Brown; her stepdaughter, Alexis Brown; stepson, Spencer Brown; her sons, Brayden Michael and Ethan Tyler; and her daughters, Avery Jeanne and Emma Jeanne.
She is also lovingly remembered by her aunts, Debbie Lail (Larry) and Karla; her uncles, Brad (Leslie) and Bob (Sylvia); cousins Brandon Lail, Anthony Lail, and many others; as well as her special friends, Ashley, Leslie, and Brittany, who were like sisters to her. Her loyal dog, Bentley, remained faithfully by her side and held a special place in her heart.
Sarah lived her life guided by her favorite scripture, John 3:16, a verse that reflected the depth of her faith and the comfort she found in God's promises.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful soul who meant so much to so many.
Sarah will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
