Obituary of Sarah Anne Knutson
Parkston – Sarah Anne Knutson, 36, went to her heavenly home Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her home in Parkston. Visitation will be Saturday, March 8 from 10 am to 12 pm at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.
Sarah Anne Knutson was bor October 11, 1988, to John and Darla (Conzemius) Willis in Chula Vista, CA. At a young age her family moved to Mitchell, SD where she attended Mitchell High School. She obtained her GED and then continued on to attend Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell until the birth of her son Cayden in 2007.
In 2009, Sarah met her husband to be. Sarah and Teyton Knutson were united in marriage on August 29, 2014, in Mitchell. To this marriage Kenli Anne and Kallie Jo were born. Sarah was a loving mother that liked to spend time cooking for her family and taking her kids on outings shopping and to the parks, especially while living in Belle Fouche.
In 2017, Sarah and the family moved back to the Mitchell area landing in Parkston to be closer to family and friends, Sarah's spare time was filled with not only golfing but finding golf balls. She also enjoyed watching The Golden Girls and The Green Bay Packers while wrapped in one of her cheetah print blankets. When her father John fell in 2018, Sarah unselfishly gave up a lot of her free time to tend to her dad until his passing in 2024
Sarah went to her heavenly home Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her home in Parkston at the age of 36. She was preceded in death by her father John and her grandparents Sylvester and Agnes Conzemius and John and Sarah Willis.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Teyton of Parkston; 3 children Cayden, Kenli, and Kallie all of Parkston; mother, Darla of Mitchell; 3 siblings: Daria (David) Utz and their children, Dave Kaitlyn of Wilmington, NC; Raymond (Tori) Conzemius and their children Damon, Mason, Tyler, and Ethan of Mitchell; Aaron (Carly) Willis and their children, Reid and Reagan of Mitchell; Mother-in-law Tammy (Brad) of Burke, SD; Father-in-law Kyle (Jamie) of Alcester, SD; Sister-in-laws Kaycie and daughter Lily of Alcester, SD; Kayleigh (Tyler) of Mitchell, SD; Sadie of Burke, SD; Brother-in-law Dillyn and son Theo of Alcester, SD; and Grandparents-in-law Ron and Karen of Fredericksburg, IA. Bob and Dunna of Alcester, SD.
