Sarah E. Lee

A graveside service will be held for Sarah Lee at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Rathburn Family Cemetery in Texarkana, under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home.
Sarah Strickland Lee was born October 16, 1947, in Willis, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Texarkana, Texas, living in the community for 20 years. Formerly of Redwater, Texas, Sarah was a devoted member of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years at Red River Army Depot and later with Miller County Abstract.
Sarah passed away at the age of 78 on October 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Irene Strickland; one sister, Joyce Roberts; and three brothers Kenneth Strickland, Tommy Dean Strickland, and John Strickland.
Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Melissa Lee of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry & Aaron Ragland of Texarkana; grandchildren, Tyler Lee (Kriss), Mackensie Lee, Keeley Puckett (Scout), Jake Ragland (Kirsten); and great-grandchildren, Brooks Ragland, Sunny Puckett, Sunni Lee, Zachary Davis, and Khloe Davis. She is also survived by four siblings, David Strickland (Marsha) of Queen City, Texas, Tim Strickland of Maud, Texas, Earlene Patterson (Derrell) of Redwater, Texas, and Mari Ledbetter (Michael) of Redwater, Texas; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and other family.
