Cherrie Ann Taylor Gregg was born October 22, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to the late Robert & Vera Taylor. She raised her family in Dallas and worked for the Dallas Times Herald, Dallas Morning News, and Ft. Worth Star Telegram for many years.
Cherrie passed away at the age of 78 on October 13, 2025, at her home.
She is survived by her children, Wesley Jezek of Midland, Robert Parris and wife, April of Mesquite, Paul Parris of Haskell, OK, and Shirley Parris and husband, Jason Lowrimore of Burleson; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Mattilynn, Courtney, Justice, Trey, Ezra, William, Finnegan, Chase and Chance; and three great-grandchildren, Veronica, Luke, and Myles.
