It is with great love and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Sarah M. Lopez 66 of Las Cruces, NM after her courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Sarah was born in Las Cruces, NM to Pablo G. Lopez and Teresa Lopez.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Sarah was survived by her daughter Brandy Lopez and grandson Nathan Lopez. Also her brothers Paul Jr Lopez and his spouse Emily Lopez, Peter Lopez and sisters Susie Avalos and Cindy Lopez. And beloved nieces and nephews Aaron Aragon and his spouse Alyssa Aragon, Jovonnie Aragon, Tiffany Rivera, Tracey Rivera, Amber Lopez, Jerry Paul Lopez, Nena Lopez, Peter Jr Lopez.
Sarah will be remembered for all the children she provided care for through out the years. Sarah was also an employee at Leggs for more than 25 yrs. She will be remembered for her love and kindness that she showed to everyone that she came in contact with.
Services for Sarah Lopez will be held on April 12th 2025 at 9:30 am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Sarah requested that everyone please wear purple to the services.
