Sarah Ann Moorman

Mrs. Sarah Ann Roberts Moorman, 78, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born September 21, 1943 in Arkansas to Alfred Earl and Phebia Holt Roberts. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed cooking and serving delicious meals to her family. While fishing and flower gardening were among her many hobbies, she took great pride in her collection of antique bottles and loved "digging" and searching for these treasured objects at any opportunity she had. A devoted Christian, she loved the Lord and now abides in His presence forever.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2022 at The Pentecostals of Grenada with the Rev. Damon Tipton officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery in the Rosebloom Community of Tallahatchie County. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Phebia Merrill(Michael) of Grenada and Sharon McNabb of Elliott; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Ewing, Heather Mitchell, Meagan Ashworth, Felisha McNabb, Victoria Merrill, Nicholas Merrill, Stephen McNabb, Veronica Chambers and Krista McNabb and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Fletcher Moorman, Jr.; daughter, Debbie Ashworth; sister, Linda Baxley and a brother, Eddie Roberts.
