Peacefully and with the comfort of her family by her side, Sarah Elizabeth Quick, 43, passed away on March 13, 2023, at home in Reynoldsburg. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Quick. Sarah is lovingly remembered by her mother Alayne Linder Quick; sister Emily (John) Schriver; her 3 adoring nieces Lillian, Cate & Ruthie; her aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Sarah was devout to her mother and her faith. Sarah faced cancer with a fierce spirit, and set an exemplary model of courage and tenacity for her nieces and everyone who was lucky enough to know her. To know Sarah is to know every detail of her nieces’ lives. From their closest secrets, to their proudest accomplishments, she was ever their companion. Sarah was the undisputed queen of the aunt/niece sleepover.
We will feel her presence always, and especially: when a cardinal visits our yard; when the radio hits the sweet spot on the 90s playlist; when anyone mentions anything Disney; when someone buys the largest souvenir beverage cup; when someone visits the zoo just to chill on a bench (she was particularly fond of Hank the elephant and so proud of the time she had the opportunity to help give him a bath); or when the sunlight turns the ocean just the right shade of green. Uniquely, and fantastically, she was our beloved Sarah.
