Sarah Jane Temchulla

Sarah Jane Temchulla, 89, of Rossiter, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at McKinley Healthcare in Brookville.
She was born on May 3, 1935, in McIntyre, Indiana County, a daughter of the late James Paul Montgomery and Emmeline Kathryn (Fishel) Montgomery.
On September 4, 1954, she married George Temchulla. They enjoyed seventy years of marriage and raised a loving family. George survives and resides in in Rossiter.
Sarah was a devoted homemaker, maintaining a warm immaculate home. She worked as a sample hostess at County Market for a few years, it was a job she was very proud of and enjoyed immensely. She also found joy in life's simple pleasures, which included spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching her favorite television programs.
In addition to her husband George, she is survived by three children, Terry (Jackie) Temchulla of Punxsutawney, Barry Temchulla of Rossiter and Darlene Temchulla of Rossiter; three grandchildren, Joshua Temchulla, Garrett Temchulla and Tessa (Brian) Davis; two great grandchildren, Landan and Paxton Temchulla; one brother, Paul Montgomery of Sharpsville.
Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Calvin Montgomery; two sisters, Donna Rose and Audrey Fleming; a granddaughter in-law, Maria Temchulla.
Arrangements were private and under the direction of Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
Interment was at Union Hill Cemetery, Rossiter.
