Sarah S. Treece, age 77, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 Ascension Providence Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Sarah was born November 18, 1945 in Armada, the daughter of Ralph & Mabel (White) Wells. On February 18, 1963 she married Kenneth Treece in Romeo. Sarah loved to cook, working throughout the years at numerous restaurants, most notably owning Sarah's Kitchen & Catering, as a well-knownand fabulous cook. Sarah not only loved to cook and bake for family and friends she had many other passions including, gardening, landscaping and fishing. But most of all, she enjoyed being with her 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, cherishing the moments that each day brought to her.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents, several siblings and two granddaughters. Sarah is survived by her husband Kenneth, children: Maysonya (Brad) Morrison of Romeo, Kenneth Jr. (Linda) of MacombTwp., Barbara (John) Hobbs of Washington Twp., Michael (Lisa) of Clinton Twp., Anna (James) Hansen of Romeo and Louis (Tracy) of Ohio. Grandchildren include Caitlin & David Morrison, Alexander, Ryan &CaileyTreece, Leah Hobbs (Tyler), Kelsey (David) Hobbs-Mattson, Dr. Linzi (Ryan) Hobbs-Parker, Vanessa (Tom) Lopatka, Dakota & Lucas Treece, Matthew, Lillian, & John Hansen, Archer & Rosa Treece, Max & Lucy Lopatka.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan with a service at 3 PM with Rev. Darcy M. Reis of St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.
