Saul Castillo, age 73, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on September 21, 2025. He was born March 11, 1952 in Guanajuato, Mexico to his loving parents, Juan Castillo Ruiz and Mariana Montoya.

Saul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by love, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to his family. He met the love of his life, Carolina Garcia, in a small town in Guanajuato, Mexico, and they were married in 1976. Together, they built a family of five children who became his greatest pride and joy.

In 1978, Saul began his journey to the United States with the goal of providing a better future for his loved ones. His determination and resilience led to a new chapter in 1994, when he reunited his family in Carpentersville, IL, where they would make their home.

A hardworking man, Saul worked as a machine operator for many years. He was known for his strength, humility, and reliability-always a quiet, steady presence who put the needs of others before his own. Selfless until his last breath, he lived each day with resilience and quiet grace.

Saul found joy in life's simple blessings. He loved tending to his garden in the backyard, spending time with his family, and especially treasuring the moments when his grandchildren were born. The joy on his face when he held each of them for the first time showed the depth of his love, and he continued to dote on them as they grew.

He will always be remembered as an amazing father who loved, cherished, and protected his children and grandchildren. Everything Saul did in his life was for his family, and his legacy of love and sacrifice will live on in their hearts forever.
