Saundra Grayson

Visitation for Saundra Grayson, age 81, of Alba, Texas will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Ms. Grayson passed away peacefully at her home in Alba on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 with her family by her side.

Sandra A. Grayson was born on November 16, 1943 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Buddy and Katrine (Coppedge) Parnell. Saundra enjoyed raising dogs, with the Chinese Pug having a special place in her heart. She worked as a caregiver for many years and found it very rewarding. Saundra was always the life of the party and loved to fish and spend lots of time with her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith and a member of the Trinity Harvest Church in Sulphur Springs. Everyone dearly loved her and the wisdom she shared.

Saundra is survived by her children, Missy Shobert of Brashear, Texas, Jamie Shobert (spouse Kevin Keen) of Alba, Texas, and Shane Shobert (Lisa) of Spur, Texas; grandchildren, Jimmy Black, Hayli Bicknell, Tye Sartin, Kayli Sartin, Harlie Watson, Kayla Bateman, Kacie Deeds, and Brooke Reese; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Neena Parnell of Sulphur Springs, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Katrine Parnell, daughter, Kim Hrabal; brothers, Farrah Parnell and Buddy Parnell; and sisters, Kay Cross and Sheena Parnell.
