Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory on Feb. 16, 2026.
Saundra Marie McGhee, age 83, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2026.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother whose heart was always with her family.

Saundra worked as a Computer Data Entry Operator for the State of Arkansas until her retirement. She carried herself with strength and quiet elegance, and those who knew her best knew the depth of her nurturing spirit and the fierce love she had for her children and family.

She shared 66 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Farrel Dee McGhee Sr., and after a lifetime side by side, she went home to be with him once again.

Saundra found great joy in caring for the people she loved. She was known for preparing large meals for holidays and family gatherings, making sure no one ever left her home hungry. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, creating many handmade treasures for her daughter and family that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her children, Farrel Dee McGhee Jr. (Cindy) of Cabot, AR, Kris McGhee (Sara) of Smithville, TN, and Jamie Vidimos (Derek) of Cabot, AR; her grandchildren, Bryce McGhee (Raegan) of Conway, AR and their children Greyson and Parker, Ashley Schnier (Jimmy) of Chicago, IL and their children Henry and Donovan, Ryan McGhee of Benton, AR, Seth McGhee of Conway, AR, Kian McGhee of Gravelly, AR, Katie Vidimos of Cabot, AR, and Harley Vidimos of Cabot, AR.

She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Wilde of Menomonee Falls, WI; her niece, Cheryl LeSage (Tim) of Menomonee Falls, WI; and her nephew, Chuck Wilde of Bangor, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farrel Dee McGhee Sr.; her father, Ambrose Wilde; and her mother, Helena Fisher Wilde.

Saundra will be remembered for her strength, grace, and the unwavering love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she created, the meals she prepared, and the warmth she left in every heart she touched.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
