Savitaben Patel Obituary
Savitaben N. Patel, of Washington Crossing, PA, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Arista Care Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield. She was 76 years old. Born in Bodal, Gujarat, India, she lived in Lira and Kampala, Uganda and Goteborg Sweden, before coming to the United States in 2008.
Savitaben was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed old Bollywood movies, traveling, cooking Indian food and singing to garba songs.
She’s predeceased by her husband Narendrabhai S. Patel (d. 2023), her brothers Ramanbhai and Kanchanbhai, and her sister Revaben.
Surviving are her loving family, her daughter Nilima (Alpesh) Patel of Washington Crossing, PA; her son Svapnil Patel (Vinal) of Edison, NJ; her four grandchildren Dillan, Shahil, Tanisha and Dev; and her brother Mukeshbahi of Sweden.
Pooja services will be held on Tuesday, December 24th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Rt. 27 & Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick, NJ.
