Scot K. Slonaker, 65, of Perkiomenville, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
Born in Sellersville on July 5, 1958, he was the youngest son of Carl F. and Doris J. (Heacock) Slonaker, Sr. of Frederick. On October 3, 1981, he married his wife of 43 years, Kelly L. (Imbody) Slonaker. He was the beloved father of Kasey, wife of Travis Wetzel, and loved being a grandfather to Zaidyn and Braelyn Wetzel.
Scot was a 1976 graduate of Upper Perk High School and was employed at RJ Sell Excavating in Green Lane as a heavy equipment operator for 45 years before retiring in 2020. He was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville and the VFW Post 5954 in Red Hill.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting Benezette in October to see the elk.
He is also survived by his brother, Carl F. Slonaker, Jr. and wife, Sheri of East Greenville and many nieces,
nephews, cousins and extended family.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville. You may offer condolences and share memories by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the New Goshenhoppen Capital Campaign Fund, 1070 Church Rd, East Greenville, PA 18041.
