Scott Mitchell Banaski, 51, of Exeter, passed away suddenly on July 11, 2024. He was born on September 25, 1972, in Haverhill, MA, to Michael and Sandra (Bryer) Mitchell.
Scott spent his formative years in Danville, NH, alongside his brother Michael and sister Kimberly. He was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School.
Scott was recently employed by Infinity Massage Chairs as a Human Resources Professional in Seabrook, NH, where he found fulfillment and camaraderie. His passion for travel led him to cherish vacations, especially cruises through the Caribbean, which held a special place in his heart.
Scott's life was forever enriched when he met Robert on June 13, 1997, while Robert was working at the First Essex Bank in Lawrence, MA. Their connection was immediate, leading to a joyful marriage. Together, they lovingly raised two children, Jayson and Nicole Banaski, while making homes in various locales across New England, including Danville and Sandown, NH; Haverhill and Berlin, MA; and Saco, ME.
An enthusiast of craftsmanship, Scott found joy in refinishing furniture and sharing his talent for interior decorating. His curiosity extended to antiques and family genealogy, where he delighted in uncovering the stories behind intriguing items and his own lineage. He took pride in his immaculate gardens and generously shared his culinary skills, delighting friends and family with delicious meals.
Scott is survived by his husband, Robert Banaski of Saco, ME; his children Jayson and Nicole Banaski of Saco, ME and Exeter, NH; his loving parents Michael and Sandra Mitchell of Danville, NH; his brother Michael Mitchell and his wife Robin; and his sister Kimberly Joy Donohoe. He also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Scott Mitchell Banaski will be remembered for his warmth, creativity, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
Calling hours will be July 16, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine Street, Exeter, NH. Followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow after funeral services at the Centre Cemetery, Danville, NH.

I am so sorry for the loss of a very kind person, I had known Scott years ago when he worked at a long term and a subacute faculty where he was the scheduler for the nursing staff , we have kept in touch time to time on Facebook. He was a kind hearted person, who if you were having a bad day he would lift you right up with his wonderful personality. There are people that cross your path during your life time , and there are people that you just don´t forget, and he was one of them! RIP
