Scott Bembinster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Alavon Direct Cremation Service - Orange City on May 20, 2025.
Scott William Bembinster, 58 of Deland, Florida, passed away on May 19th leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and laughter. He was a devoted husband, proud father, beloved son, treasured brother, and cherished grandfather. Scott lived his life with a deep devotion to his family and a quiet pride in the life he built with his wife, Stephanie. He was endlessly proud of his sons and the families they created, and his support for them was unwavering.
Scott recently retired after 35 years with UPS, a career marked by dedication and hard work.
Scott was born May 9, 1967 in Wisconsin, a true Wisconsinite, he was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan who loved hosting game days-complete with his famous salsa that everyone looked forward to. He found joy in live music, watching races, and spending time with family on the boat. He had a wide range of knowledge and loved sharing what he'd learned over the years, whether it was practical advice or just a fun fact to make you smile.
Scott will be remembered for his warmth, his smile, his humor, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. He made life better simply by being in it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Scott was predeceased by his mother, Bonnie Krueger. He leaves behind his father, William (Cathy); mother-in-law, Kay; sisters, Debbie and Erin; his loving wife, Stephanie; sons, Chance (Joanne) and Brandon (Sarah); and four grandchildren who adored their Papa.
Scott would have wanted his life to be celebrated with joy and laughter-not mourned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in his name to St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand, Florida. https://secure.myvanco.com/L-Z506/home
A Family hosted Celebration of Life will take place at Scott and Stephanie's home on June 28, 2025 from 1-3 PM, and all are encouraged to stop by, share stories, and honor Scott in the way he would have loved.
