Scott "Scotty" Wayne Bunch of Harrison, Arkansas was born June 27, 1932, in Holden, Louisiana to Alex Marion and Bessie Ray (Martin) Bunch. Scott passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, in Harrison, at the age of 91.
Scotty was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing when he was able but most of all he enjoyed traveling. He had a green thumb and loved his flower garden, especially Day Lillies.
After moving to Arkansas, attending music shows followed by dinner became Scotty and Bessie's favorite pastime. One of his greatest joys was making jambalaya and frying fish for family and friends.
He is survived by Bessie May (Mulkey) Bunch whom he joined in matrimony on February 14, 2004. He is also survived by his daughter Carolyn Sharp and husband Rodney of Berryville, Arkansas, brothers Dorman Bunch and Terry Bunch, sisters Helen Lawson and Betty Kirby, granddaughter Amy Parker and husband Tim, several grandchildren, and one great grandchild. "Uncle Scotty" will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Bessie Ray Bunch, his first wife Juanita L. Bunch, son Kenneth Wayne Lambert, brother Louie Bunch and sister Mary Louise Bunch.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2024, at Southern Heights Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Keith Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.act.alz.org, 225 N Michigan Ave Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
