Scott A. Dana, age 56, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025 at his home in Springfield, Vermont.

Scott was born on November 21, 1968 in Springfield to Donald Dana and Paula Dana, who survive him. He grew up alongside his siblings Rick Dana, Wendy Robinson and Kelly Young, with whom they shared many cherished memories as children growing up on their family's land in Weathersfield, Vermont.

Scott was the proud father of three children: Anthony Dana, Desmond Muther and Kendra Masure- and lovingly welcomed their spouses, Meredith Ward, Micheal Muther and Benjamin Masure, into the family. He was blessed with 5 grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride into his life. Scott's grandchildren were a beacon of light in his life and he deeply cherished the moments they spent together.

He was previously married to Barbara Parizo, with whom he shared many meaningful years and the gift of their beautiful family.

Throughout his life Scott enjoyed working for Springfield Housing Authority. He took pride in maintaining safe and welcoming housing for the members of his community and enjoyed building caring friendships with the tenants he served, as well as many other people in the community.

A celebration of life will be held on January 10th at Crown Point Country Club from 1pm-4pm. All who knew Scott are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
