Scott Anderson Fletcher 62, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 6, 1962 son of the late William Fletcher Jr. and Doris J. (Mellott) Fletcher, both proceeding him in death, his siblings are, Kurt Fletcher of Bedford, and Billie Haines, spouse Andrew, nephew Samuel and niece Margaret of Hollidaysburg. Scott was a 1980 graduate of Bedford High School. On February 17th, 1984 he married, Jamie Sue (Bowser), they had two beautiful children. Daughter Alexis Dawn and son, Brandon William Fletcher. On May 1st, 2004, they welcomed their only grandchild Draven Scott, pappy proudly helped with the delivery. On March 3rd, 2005 Alexis Dawn preceded him in death. They proudly and gratefully raised Draven Scott. Scott worked at Creative Pultrusions in Alum Bank for over 17 years as they made Bedford their home while their children finish school in Bedford. In 2004 the family's heart strings tugged them to salt air, and ocean waters, moving to the Outer Banks, of North Carolina where Scott was self-employed. Later moving inland to the Raleigh NC area, to be closer to medical care and their son Brandon and his family with Ms. Kasey Tiller and her three children. Scott loved sports, Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and Penn State. Ask him a stat he had the answer to it. He loved lawn work, gardening and animals, and spending time with his family. The past five years he's been in declining health due to illness. He will be tremendously missed by his family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home with Pastor Beth Pyles officiating. Burial to follow at Bedford County Memorial Park where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved daughter Lexi. Friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Those wishing can make memorial contributions in Scott's name to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA, 15522.
