Scott Ervin Galbraith

Scott Ervin Galbraith, 72, better known to his friends as "Skippy" entered into rest Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at his home. He was the husband of Lorie M. (Groft Galbraith for 43 years.

Scott was born February 13, 1954 in York, a son of the late Lloyd C., Jr. and Doris E. (Keller) Galbraith. He was a graduate of York Suburban High School and was employed in sales at Stetler Dodge, Giambalvo's, Grenewalt's Used Cars, and Werner Bros.

Scott was fond of the many dogs he rescued over the years and could be found snuggling on the sofa with "Walter" cheering on their favorite Raider's or Yankee teams.

Scott is survived by his wife; nephews Benjamin (Jenni) their children Ella and Jack, and Jacob and his child, Robbie. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Galbraith.

There will be a private family service in memory of Scott at a later time.
