Lee, NH - Scott E. Gilmore, 31 of Lee, NH passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2024. Scott was born in Rochester, NH on December 3, 1992.
Scott grew up in Milton, NH and graduated from Nute High School in 2011. Growing up, Scott was very involved with the Boy Scouts, reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating high school, he went on to trade school to become an accomplished Master Plumber in both NH and ME; employed by Aquamen Water Solutions. Scott was dedicated to his work, proud of his accomplishments and absolutely loved what he did for a living.
Scott was a devoted father who was so proud to become a dad. Scott's son, Emmett, was the joy of his life. He and Emmett enjoyed making pancakes together on Sunday mornings, loved to get messy in the kitchen making homemade pizza for dinner, and enjoyed being outside together.
Scott enjoyed cooking and especially loved to grill and use his smoker. He loved to fish and enjoyed spending time outdoors. At his fathers-in-law camp up north he enjoyed snowmobiling, floating on the enormous raft, and spending the day on his fishing kayak. At his mothers-in-law lake house he also loved to boat, fish, and enjoy an evening by the campfire.
Scott was a simple man that worked hard and wanted to be the best version of himself for his son. He was loved by so many and is deeply missed.
Scott is survived by his wife, Krista and son Emmett Gilmore; Parents David and Kimberley (Grady) Gilmore; grandmother Audrey Grady and her partner Dale; aunt Gina Gilmore; uncle Kevin Grady and wife Rebecca; cousins Hannah, Emery, Callie, Tyler and Torey. Scott was deeply loved by his father-in-law Gary Ruel and wife Sabrina; mother-in-law Diane Ruel, the entire Ruel family, many extended family members and close friends.
Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Grady, Arnold and Florence Gilmore and uncle Garen Grady.
Calling hours will be held at Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home & Crematory, 77 Exeter Road (Route 108), Newmarket, NH on Sunday February 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a private celebration of life to follow.
