Scott Jeffrey Hall

Scott Jeffrey Hall, known affectionately to friends and family as Scott, passed away peacefully from natural causes on September 4, 2024, at the age of 58, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan. Scott was born on February 20, 1966, in Charlevoix, Michigan the son of John Clarence Hall and the late Linda K. (nee: Lewis) Hall.
Scott was a man whose warmth and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He spent many years honing his craft as a machinist, contributing to various manufacturing facilities, including those specializing in defense manufacturing. His colleagues will remember him as a reliable and dedicated worker who approached every task with precision and care.
Scott's love for the outdoors was a defining aspect of his character. He was happiest when he was in the woods. Scott had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed searching and finding morel mushrooms. His enthusiasm for fishing was contagious, and many will recall the stories of the one that got away.
His passion for the outdoors extended to his love for 2 tracking with buddies, where he found solace and excitement on the less-traveled paths. Scott's adventurous spirit was complemented by his innate friendliness; he was always ready to share a story or lend a helping hand.
Scott is the son of John Hall and the brother to John and Monty Hall. His legacy of kindness and gentle strength lives on through his daughter, Kasondra "Kassie" Clarke, and his grandsons, Sylis and Sawyer DeYoung. Scott is further survived by his longtime girlfriend Linda Szczepaniak. Scott was predeceased by his mother Linda K. Lewis.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held Saturday September 28, 2024, beginning at 12 Noon at Larry's Seven-Ski Inn, 2919 N US Highway 131 Elmira, MI 49730
