Scott Anthony Hedge

Scott Anthony Hedge, of Rolla, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the age of 52.
He was born on April 17, 1972 in St. Louis, MO to the late George Alvin Ray Hedge and Jeannie Dianne (Shaw) Hedge Carico. In addition to his parents, Scott was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Scott Hedge.
Scott loved anything to do with horses! He enjoyed riding, going to horse sales and auctions, and attending rodeos with his children, Cole and Kennedy. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. Scott had a great sense of humor and was known to be a jokester. He loved entertaining people and telling stories. He was a loyal and loving son and was everyone's protector.
Scott will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his son, Cole Hedge of Rolla, MO; a daughter, Kennedy Hedge of Rolla, MO; his stepfather Don Carico of Rolla, MO; two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Hedge and Shawn Hedge and wife, Sara, both of Rolla, MO; one sister, Lorrita Mace and husband, Daniel of Rolla, MO; nieces and nephews, Alcion Smith-Bandy and husband, Jeremy, Mersadie Hedge, Levi Hedge, Carsen Hedge, Tobias Hedge, Madison Mace, Jessica Mace and Emilie Hedge-Wells and husband, Andrew; great nieces, Ronni Bandy and Nellie Wells; and special friends, George and Dee Humphrey.
A funeral service for Scott A. Hedge will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Null and Son Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
