Scott Duncan Jenkins - Age 62 of Nolensville, Tennessee. July 19, 2024.
Scott Jenkins was preceded in death by his son, Christopher S. Jenkins; and his parents, James V. Jenkins and Elizabeth D. Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melody Mandrell Jenkins; his children, Elizabeth Ann Jenkins (Brian Wilson), Bryson Tyler Jenkins, and Madison Riley Jenkins; brother, James "Jimbo" Jenkins (Debbie); his siblings-in-law; and his nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Scott grew up in South Nashville, graduating from Glencliff High School in 1980. A loving father and friend, he had a passion for cars, planes, motorcycles, cooking, fishing, and playing the bass at church. His creative and funny personality will be missed greatly by all.
Scott worked for the Nashville Fire Department for 30 years and was an engineer. He loved helping people in the community whatever way he could. He made lifelong friends, many of which he considered family, during his decades-long career.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
Visitation and Funeral services will be at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville on Monday, July 29, 2024, Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Scott will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be present and retired members of the Metro Fire Department.
