Scott R. LaPean age 52 of Eau Claire, died Wednesday July 23, 2025, in Eau Claire.

Scott was born on September 5, 1972, in Durand. He was the son of Robert and Julie (Bauer) LaPean. Scott grew up mostly in Eleva and graduated from Eleva High School in 1991. He attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota in Crookston, MN. Scott worked at various jobs around the area.

Scott loved wrestling and was trained by Ken Patera and wrestled as "LaPean the Dream" in the WWF, for a short time. Scott also loved fishing and spending time with his nephew, Noah.

Scott is survived by his mother, Julie Bauer (Jeff Ableidinger); a brother, Jeff LaPean, a nephew, Noah LaPean; Aunts & Uncles, Loret (Kevin) Retzloff, Joan Plumer, Jan (Ed) Fisher, Roger (Mary) Bauer, Lynette (Tim) Bates, Lori Hofacker (Earl Frohn), Connie (Dave) Karshbaum, Dan (Audrey) Bauer, Greg (Kris) Bauer, Mary (Dan) Wieser, Paul (Tess) Bauer, Brenda (Brian) Jorgenson, Bernard (Linda) LaPean and Jan (Jerry) Snider.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert LaPean, brothers, Brian and Robert, his grandparents Wilfred and Margaret Bauer and Alfred and Irene LaPean; Aunts and Uncles; Pit Plumer, Violet and Wilbert Pichler, Jean and Bill Fredrickson, Larry LaPean and several cousins.
