Born in Providence, he was the son of the late C. Edwin and Joanne (Shellenberger) Lewis.
Scott was a long-time member of the Oak Lawn Community Baptist Church, serving in many positions, including singing in the choir. Scott had a long career in the large-scale graphics industry. Living in a historic home, he was very interested in the history of the Oak Lawn area of Cranston and would speak on this topic. He was a lover of animals and cars and was responsible for ringing the bell and pouring coffee at church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 11 AM at the Oak Lawn Community Baptist Church, 229 Wilbur Avenue, Cranston, RI. Burial will be private.
