Scott Masty

MASTY, Robert "Scott". December 8, 2022. Age 40. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Loving father to his four children Nathaniel, Theodore, Joshua, and Hannah. Cherished son of Robert J Masty and Joan Rieck Masty, son in law of Mark Carmichael (Deb Briske) and Denise Carmichael. Dearest brother of Renee (Andrew) Smith, Nicole (Jason) Dolland and brother in law of Jonathan (Alexis) Carmichael, and James (Molly) Carmichael. Survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends and other family. Scott centered his life around God and his family with everything else following behind. His strong faith in God was evident in how he lived his life. He worked countless hours to provide for his family to ensure they had everything they could ever need. His wife and his children were absolutely everything to him. If there was a card game going on anywhere, that's where you could find him. If you saw a karaoke machine and microphone, he'd be putting on a performance whether you liked it or not. He absolutely loved hockey and watching his three sons play the sport, spending countless hours at hockey rinks. He enjoyed camping, fishing, game nights, and spending every spare minute with his family. If you were feeling down or struggling, he would always have a kind word and a big smile with a twinkle in his eye to try to give love and encouragement whether he knew you or if you were a complete stranger. He was adored by so many and will be greatly missed beyond belief. Visitation Wednesday December 14th 3-9pm with a 7pm Sharing of Memories Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons. 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Thursday 9:30am at St Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal Ave, Eastpointe, until time of 10am Mass.
