Scott Montgomery Obituary
Scott Owen Montgomery, 78, of McArthur, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born on November 8, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Robert Owen and Florence Aveanelle (Bowman) Montgomery.
Scott was a Sheet Metal Journeyman with Local 224. He was an avid woodsman and always enjoyed time spent outdoors. Scott was a huge history buff and he loved and frequently visited his local library, the Herbert Wescoat Memorial Library.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Nichole M. Pease; son, Jonathan S. Korns; grandchildren, Tabitha N. Pease, Jacob Korns, and Emilie E. Korns; great grandchildren, Levi Scott Pease, Braelynn Cheryl, Anthony Pease, and Artica Fox Korns; brother, Darrell J. Montgomery; and sister, Ronell K. Mabelitini.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Lee Montgomery.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are with the Garrett Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur.
