In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Rebecca Randall, his infant daughter Jennifer Randall, and Jessica’s son Dallas Micha.
As a self-employed personal contractor with S&D Repair, Scott was known for his exceptional skill and dedication. He was not just a handyman to his customers but a friend who greeted each project with enthusiasm and care. His work was not merely a job; it was a craft that he honed with pride. An avid outdoorsman, Scott looked forward to camping in the Adirondack Park, an annual tradition he cherished. Some of his favorite pastimes was hunting, fishing, and trapping with his best friend Fran.
When not enjoying the outdoors, Scott had plenty of other hobbies and interests to keep him busy, from antique auctions, golfing, bowling, or dirt track racing with his brother-in-law Dan, his hands were rarely still. He also found moments of peace sitting on his front porch or strumming a song on the guitar with his grandson Brandon.
Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Street, Newark Valley, New York from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
