Scott Rogers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilson Funeral Home on Mar. 30, 2026.
Scott Michael Rogers, 67, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on March 3, 1959, Scott graduated from Windham High School and later earned his degree from the University of Southern Maine. He devoted 49 years to Conifer Industries, where he was respected not only for his dedication, but for the quiet strength and reliability he brought to his work each day.

Scott was a kind and gentle soul whose greatest joy was his family. He had a calm presence and a generous heart, always putting those he loved before himself. He treasured time spent hunting and fishing with his dear friend Matt, moments filled with laughter, stories, and lasting friendship. Scott also had a deep passion for collecting clocks and watches, along with a remarkable talent for repairing them-bringing timepieces, and often memories, back to life.

Scott was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Peter Sanville.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Donald and Mabel Rogers of Spring Hill, Florida; Dawn and Michael MacWhinnie of Spring Hill, Florida; Lori Sanville of Windham, Maine; Cheryl Littlefield and Todd Boulanger of Windham, Maine; Niki Getchell of Eustis, Florida; his ten nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and Matt and Meredith Thurston, who were family to him in every way.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Dugan and PA Gina of MMC for their compassion, care, and support during a difficult time.

In keeping with Scott's wishes, there will be no formal service. A remembrance gathering will be held at a later date.

Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his quiet kindness, steady presence, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
