Scott Kevin Routhier, born January 4, 1969 in Portland, ME passed away on March 16, 2024 after a recent diagnosis of cancer.
Kevin grew up in Freeport, ME where he resided most of his life. His hobbies included basketball, biking, playing cards, lifting weights, among many others. Freeport High School Class of 1987 voted Kevin "Quietest" in his senior class yearbook yet he was always the life of the crowd. Kevin loved his family and friends, most importantly he loved to have fun. His ambition was "To live a great life." An outdoorsman, he could be found enjoying a beer on the beach, walking downtown Freeport to get ice cream with the grandkids, or working outside no matter the weather. Kevin was smart, hands-on, a hard worker, a great cook, and took care of his loved ones. Kevin cared deeply for his children and his grand-children.
Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Gregory Routhier and Esther Routhier.
Kevin leaves behind his children, Michael Routhier, Bryan Routhier, and Rachel Routhier; his grand-children, Elena, Damian, and Gracie; his step-children, Ellie DeMarsh and Anna DeMarsh.
He is survived by his siblings, Rodney Routhier, Heidi Routhier, Lisa Conlon, Deborah McCombs, and Janet; his ex-wife, Tricia Atkins; his partner, Aimee DeMarsh; as well as many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and cousins.

My favorite memory of Scott (Kevin to me) was watching him and Steve play polka with matchsticks at the local watering hole. Kevin so liked playing cards and betting a few cents at the same time. Kevin always brought me various yard equipment he was trying to get fixed for his family and friends. He was always very thoughtful of others. He was also very polite and respectful! I truly enjoyed his laugh when he was telling a story or remembering some special occasion he was at with friends. And he had many friends!
I will certainly miss Kevin. He was taken much to young. But I know he is in a better place, and I'm sure I will run into him again on the other side! May God Bless Him!

Please let the family know how sorry I am for them! Kevin didn't deserve this. I hope Jesus is taking care of him. I thank him for my time with Kevin.
