Scott Joseph Saylor

Scott Joseph Saylor, age 51, of Elizabeth City, NC died on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Born in Minneapolis, MN on July 7, 1970 to Albert Louis Saylor and Linda Lee Hathon Cahalan, he served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy until his retirement. He then went on to work at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center as an Environmental Service Manager.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Alisha Saylor and Nicole Saylor, both of Elizabeth City; the mother of his children, Desiree Saylor, also of Elizabeth City; three sisters, Tracey Cahalan, Kate Wurm, and Teri Breymeier all of MN; a brother, Troy Saylor (Laura) of WI; his stepfather Patrick Cahalan and stepmother Denise Saylor; an aunt, Debbie Kilbo, and an uncle, Jerry Hathon.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 is serving the Saylor family.
