Scott Calvin Schutter
July 12, 1960 – January 13th, 2025
Scott C Schutter was called home to meet his Heavenly Father on Monday January 13, 2025. He was born to Calvin J Schutter and Sharon E Schutter in 1960. He married Angie Merritt in 1985.
He was a residential builder and worked alongside his father and brother Kevin his entire life. He was a man of strong faith and his family was the most important thing to him. His greatest accomplishment was being able to adopt his 6 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Angie, 3 children: Amanda Rudat (Josh Gray), Jacob Schutter, Jenna (Nick) Linihan; 3 sisters: Deb (Bill) Jellema, Kristi (John) Vincent, Sandy (John) Pickett ; sister in law: Linda Schutter. 7 grandchildren: Emma, Ethan, Ella, Evalynn, Matthew, Danny Schutter and Preston Linihan. Special Aunt: Karon Hunt. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kevin Schutter; Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Madison, Matthew Wyant and Eli Schutter.
Funeral Services will be held at Life Change Church at 3084 Whitehall Road Muskegon MI 49445 with Pastor Ron Rands officiating.
Service will be held Monday January 20th with visitation at 10:00 am, service beginning at 11 am and lunch to follow
