Wellington - Scott Lee Sims, 69, of Wellington, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston, with a masonic service at 7 p.m. by Hoopeston Masonic Star Lodge 709. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery, Hoopeston.

Lucus, Seth, Emily and your families, there are no words to express how sorry we are for your loss. Scott, your mom and all of you have been more than neighbors to us but have become part of our family. Just like your mom, Scott will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Praying that you feel God´s presence and his love today and all the days ahead.
