Scott Howard Sloan

Scott Howard Sloan traveled to meet his Heavenly Father on May 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Scott was born to his parents, Bob and Nancy Sloan, on January 7, 1963, in Mustang, Oklahoma. He graduated from Mustang High School in 1981 and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1987. Scott worked as a perfusionist for 35 years in hospitals across Kansas City, Missouri, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, and served as Chief Pediatric Perfusionist at St. Francis Hospital. His colleagues regarded him as a skilled and trusted medical professional, and he saved countless lives during his career. Scott was also a hard-working entrepreneur and owned multiple businesses, many of which were family enterprises. Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Arletta Sloan; his devoted parents, Bob and Nancy Sloan; his children, Tiffany Marie and Brandon Scott Sloan; his brothers, Bobby Jr. and Kirk Sloan; his nieces and nephews, Josh, Jared, Lauren, and Morgan Sloan; and his dear friend, Rick Garcia. He loved sports, wrestling for his high school team, and spent time with his family hunting, fishing, skiing, and traveling. He is remembered for his audacious humor and magnetic personality.
As his family mourns the loss of their cherished husband, parent, son, and friend, they will host a Celebration of Life reception for Scott on Saturday, May 24th, at 1:00 p.m. at 9205 S. Sloan Rd., Mustang, Oklahoma.
