Lansing, MI
Passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the age of 48. Born January 9, 1975 to Stephen and Susan (Hitt) Spinner in Lansing, Michigan. Scott was a graduate of Lansing Waverly High School class of '93. He enjoyed playing soccer and played throughout his high school career for the Waverly Warriors. Following graduation, Scott enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served aboard the USS Carl Vinson. After his honorable discharge he moved back to Lansing and provided West Lansing with pizza for many years and most recently worked for Quality Dairy. Scott enjoyed fishing, disc golf, watching NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers. He was always the life of the party. His untimely passing will leave a void in the hearts of those who knew him best and he will be missed dearly by all who remember him.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents Lloyd and Marie Hitt and Vernon and Edith Spinner, Uncle Don Hitt and beloved dog Lollipop.
Surviving is his wife of 18 years, Kati Spinner; children, Sara (Terry) Sweet, Kyle Spinner, Makayla (Aidan Thornton) Spinner; step-daughter, Miranda; grandchildren, Hailey Sailor, Alivia Sweet, and one grandchild on the way; father, Stephen Spinner; mother Susan Spinner-Hedger and step father Dennis Hedger; brother, Steve (Robin) Spinner as well as many nieces and nephews.
