Scott Sprague

Scott Sprague, 73, of Sandwich, IL passed away at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was born February 17, 1952, in Aurora, IL the son of Robert and Helen (Deisher) Sprague. Scott graduated from East Aurora High School and went on to Northern Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.

Scott loved the outdoors and took great pride in maintaining his lawn, always keeping it meticulous. He was deeply involved with his children, spending countless hours at the bowling alley when they were growing up. He was also active in their lives as boys scouts. A true jack of all trades, Scott was extremely handy and took pride in completing home projects himself. He instilled a strong work ethic in his children and was very proud of their accomplishments. He had a deep love for his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his children; Adam (Erin), Andrew (Margaret) and Amanda Sprague; four grandchildren, Annabelle Sprague and Connor, Riley and Madelyn Sprague; sister, Jan Sprague-Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Laurie and former wife and close friend Pamela Sprague.

A celebration of life will be at a later date and announced in the upcoming weeks.
