Elaine Roth

Elaine R. Roth, 84, of Oswego, IL and formerly of Aurora, IL passed away on November 30, 2025. She was born in Aurora, IL on January 14, 1941, the daughter of George and Emily (Griesmann) Zielke. She graduated from East Aurora High School in 1959 and went on to further her education at Northern Illinois University. Elaine had a gift of staying connected- her thoughtful cards and notes were constant reminders of her love and warmth. For many years she worked at the Jacqueline Shop Tea Room and the Old Oak Creek Tea Room. Through the years she had a friendly smile that welcomed everyone who walked through the door. She will always be remembered for the kindness she showed to all.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, David; daughter Heather (Kurt) Swenson and grandson Emmett Swenson. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Zielke.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. A private burial will take place at North Clinton Twp. Cemetery, Waterman, IL.
