Scott Stadelmeyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory (Yakima) - Moxee on Jul. 20, 2022.
Scott L. Stadelmeyer, of Zillah, Washington, passed away on July 16, 2022. He was born April 15, 1951, to George and Lillian Stadelmeyer, in Van Nuys, California. He moved to the Yakima Valley when he was 15 years old, and resided in the Yakima Valley for the remainder of his days.
Following his graduation from Toppenish High School in 1971, Scott joined the Army. He was honorably discharged in 1973, and returned home to marry his high school sweetheart, Valerie Goodson. He became a daddy to his daughter, Billie Jo, and brother to Joann, Tonia, and Tina. Scott and Val then had two more children, Kirk Ryan and Becky Jo.
Scott was a homebody, but did enjoy playing tennis, fishing, bird hunting, golfing, and camping. He was a very hard-working man and took pride in his work as a mechanic. Scott was a family man, and his world revolved around his family, and ensuring that they were taken care of.
Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Kirk, parents, George and Lillian, in-laws, Zoe and Bud Goodson, and son-in-law, Scott McCrumb, his golf partner. Scott leaves behind his wife, of 49 years, Valerie, three children, Billie McCrumb-Denton (Mike), of Yakima, Washington, Kirk Ryan Stadelmeyer (Chris), of Boise, Idaho, Becky Suita (Chris), of Orchard Park, New York. He had seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00-7:00pm at the Public House of Yakima, East.
