Obituary of Scott David Stamper
July 10, 1971 – April 23, 2023
Scott David Stamper. Age 51 of Waterford, formerly of Riverview.
Beloved husband of Darrin Elland. Loving son of Suzanne and William Stamper. Son-in-law of Gary (Victoria) Elland. Dearest brother of Billy Stamper and Tim (Lindsay) Stamper. Dear brother of Kathy (Charles) Owens, Amy (Joshua) McAlees and Rebekah (John) Klaft. Brother-in-law of David (Diane) Elland and Christy Carlo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to American Heart Association.
Taken from us way to soon, Scott dedicated his time/life to making others feel good about themselves. He was happiest when creating for his clients and connecting with them and learning about their family's and the day-to-day flow of their lives. He believed that connections made in his chair were long lasting friendships that he enjoyed fostering in and out of work. Scott never stopped learning about his craft and sharing with others his trade. I know that Scott has been the happiest going back to Timber's and reconnecting with his mentor and friend.
Scott loved his dear family who remained the center of his universe. He was happiest when everyone was together and looked forward to all the milestones that he was to encounter with his nieces, nephews, cousins and all his beloved extended family. He adored and wanted to care for you all and will be supporting you and on your side while you navigate your life.
Scott took me by surprise as I was not expecting him and he appeared. Bigger than anything I could have imagined. He knew how to actively listen and be supportive even if he did not agree. He loved to vacation and see new sites with our last adventures to Hawaii and even New York. He remained an avid news reader and was currently working on the new plan for the patio. Like you all, I was awaiting his next work of art that he continuously added to our home. His love and passion for creation, friends and family will remain with us all.
Rest in peace.
