OBITUARY FOR SCOTT REED STARK

SCOTT REED STARK, 63, died of congestive heart failure on August 3 , 2025 in Clearwater , Florida . He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Anne Diener Stark. They were married 27 years . He is preceded in death by his brothers Rick Stark, and by Rod Stark and by his mother Delores Robinson Stark and his father Harry Cecil Stark His mother, brother and father are buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, Florida. Scott was cremated and will be eventually interred at Calvary Catholic Cemetary in Clearwater, Florida.

Scott Reed Stark was born in the Norridge Chicago area and moved to the area in 1980 . He attended St Petersburg College, then St Petersburg Junior College and the University of South Florida in St Petersburg, Florida. He then enrolled in Stetson College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. He graduated in 1988 cum laude and went to work for the Pinellas State Attorney's office after passing the Florida bar in the fall of 1988.

He then met and dated his wife in early 1989 . They dated for 8 years before getting engaged in late 1996. They married on May 16, 1998 and honeymooned in the deep south. They spent their early years of Holy Matrimony in South Tampa, Florida.

He then went to work for the school system as a substitute teacher in 1999 and stayed there until 2005. He then went to work for his friend Florida lawyer Brent Rose in 2007 until 2009.

He then returned to the school system for a season until 2012 until he then started his own legal practice of law virtually until his death in August 2025.

A Funeral Mass will be said on August 30, 2025 at 10 am at St Brendan's Catholic Church in Clearwater Beach.

In lieu of Flowers , the wife asks that you donate to Stetson College of Law scholarship fund or donate to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
