Scott was preceded in death by his father – Norbert W. Vogel, 2 sisters – Gwen Vogel and Susan Mouser, uncle – Darrel Ripplemeyer, and a niece – Amy Bald.
Surviving him are his mother – Marlene Vogel of Swansea, IL, daughter – Lea (Zachary Doyle) Vogel of Marissa, IL, an aunt – Donna Ripplemeyer, of Belleville, IL, a niece – Angela (Jason) Collins of Swansea, IL and grandson – Justin Glass of Marissa, IL.
A memorial service in Scott's honor will be held at a later date.
Interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Maeystown, IL.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
