Scott Walpole Obituary
Scott grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of Texas and developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or especially bow hunting for deer, Scott found joy and peace amidst nature. His bow and guns were among his most treasured possessions, reflecting his deep connection to the land and the traditions he cherished.
He is preceded in death by his father, S. T. Walpole Jr.; his brother, Stephen Walpole; his paternal grandparents, S. T. Walpole Sr. and Marie McVay Walpole; and his maternal grandmother, Bertha Stobb Koenning.
Scott is survived by his devoted mother, Eleanor Walpole; his sister, Marie Taylor; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A visitation will be held at Vinyard Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at The Marcelina Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Scott's memory.
