Sean Richard Hart

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our son, Sean Richard Hart,
45, on December 23, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1980, to Richard J. and Janina L. Hart in
Poughkeepsie, New York.
Sean was a 1999 graduate of Arlington High School, followed by Dutchess Community College
where he received his degree in Business Administration. Earlier in life he worked at Ski Haus,
Circuit City and spent several years in the auto body industry. He later went on to obtain his
CDL, which guided him to his true passion of driving the "heavy haulers" as he referred to them.
Whether it was driving for Royal Carting, delivering oil or behind the wheel of the various trucks
and equipment at Metro-North Railroad, he took great pride in them all.
With a larger-than-life personality and a big heart, he always wanted to make sure people were
laughing, smiling, and having a good time. As an avid snowboarder, he spent many winter days
up on the mountain with friends. During the colder months, he also enjoyed relaxing and
watching ice hockey. As the weather warmed, he liked riding motorcycles, traveling to the beach,
taking his boat out on Lake Candlewood, and grilling by the pool with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Sean is survived by his sister Sarah J. Hart, his Grandfather Alexander
Dziminowicz, and his Godmother Barbara Kabbash, all of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by
his Aunts and Uncles: David (Beth) Dziminowicz of Florida, Michael (Estela) Dziminowicz of
California, Donna (Richard) Buotte of Staatsburg, NY, Timothy (Terri) Hart of Highland, NY,
and Patrick Hart, as well as many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his Grandmother Jeanette Dziminowicz, Grandparents Richard and
Dorothy Hart, Uncles Thomas and Daniel Hart, and his Chihuahua Arnold.
