On June 19, 2025, Sean M. Hirt, of Lee, NH succumbed to his injuries from a motorcycle accident on June 11th. Sean was described by all who knew him as truly the nicest and most genuine person you could ever imagine, but to those closest with him, "a bastard!" Anytime there was something he could help with, he was always the first one to show up and the last one to leave.

As a New Hampshire native, he embodied the motto of Live Free or Die, and boy did he live free. His way of life is best represented by Luke Bryan's song Huntin' Fishin' and Loving Every Day. Anyone who looked at Sean could clearly see he honored patriotism and the Second Amendment. He was always up for whatever and down for anything. He loved telling stories about everything in life and may have been known to share these stories again and again… and again!

He loved many things in life; long motorcycle rides to nowhere, his vintage 2008 Nissan Sentra, hanging around a bonfire with friends, fishing at all hours, shooting funny targets, but above all else, Gemma and Wade who he was so much more than just an Uncle to.

Sean is survived by his twin brother, Jamie, and many family, friends, the Gaggle and the Giggle. Although Sean can't be alongside us anymore, his spirit will continue on as we share the stories of his adventures. We should all strive to compete with his unmatched compassion, kindness and goofy humor…especially when it's awkward!

SERVICES - A Time of Memorial Visitation will be held at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster CHapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Frost Sawyer Tavern in Durham at 5:00pm. Frost Sawyer Tavern at Three Chimneys Inn, 17 Newmarket Road, Durham, NH 03824
