Sean Li Obituary

Born on June 11, 1998, in Livingston, NJ, Sean was the beloved son of Yan Lin and Shousong Li. Sean graduated from the Academy for Information Technology in Scotch Plains, NJ, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from NYU's Stern School of Business.
Sean was not only academically accomplished but also an exceptional athlete. He was a standout fencer on the Governor Livingston High School fencing team where he was ranked first in State at the High School Championship. His passion for the sport continued at the collegiate level, where he competed for NYU.
He loved to travel, explore new cultures, and immerse himself in art, music, photography, video and fashion. A lover of good food and fitness, Sean brought enthusiasm and thoughtfulness to every experience and interaction.
He is survived by his parents, Yan Lin and Shousong Li, his maternal grandfather, Yideng Lin and his girlfriend Yishu Wang. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Qinxiang Li and Xuezheng Zhang and maternal grandmother, Sunying Xiong.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th from 3:00-6:00 PM at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ. Tributes will be offered during the visitation beginning at 5:15 PM. Burial at Somerset Hills Memorial Park will be held privately.
