Sean Gerard Lockridge, known affectionately as "Uncle Sean," passed away tragically on July 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, kindness, and boundless enthusiasm. Born on September 11, 1988, Sean's life was a testament to his vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to family, faith, and community.
Sean "LIT" up any room with his infectious laughter and warm demeanor. His presence brought joy and comfort to gatherings of family and friends, where his genuine interest in others and his playful nature created lasting memories.
He took immense pride and joy in the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews, celebrating their athletic achievements and academic successes with unmatched enthusiasm. Sean's love for children extended beyond his family, as he was always eager to play with kids indoors and outdoors, nurturing their growth and inspiring their dreams.

He is survived by his loving parents Darrell and Nicki Lockridge, and his siblings: Mandy (Raph) Flood, Joe (Ashley) Lockridge, Nick (Becky) Lockridge, and Kara (Jorge) Rivas. His creativity and passion for expression enriched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on his expansive community of friends and family. He also developed a keen talent for BBQ grilling and loved being in the kitchen with his family.
Sean's kindness and compassion were evident in his readiness to help others, always extending a helping hand without hesitation. He never spoke a word of disdain for anyone, embodying a spirit of acceptance and empathy that endeared him to all who crossed his path. He truly saw and experienced God in everyone around him.
Uncle Sean will be missed most especially by his loving nieces and nephews. He was a Godfather to Nathan Lockridge, Lilliana Lockridge, and Nico Rivas. Uncle Sean is also survived by Emmet (Delaney), Brendan (Gabriella), Patrick, Maggie, Maureen, Malia, Claire, and Greg Flood; Olivia and Gabe Lockridge; and Irene Rivas, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

I remember the first day I met Sean. Shooting some hoops after showing up early for first day of San Jac fire academy. We instantly shared a bond through a love of anything sports (either playing or watching), our love for good food (mainly burgers and the coveted "money bite", and working out. We were always on the hunt for the best burger or any type of food that was next level (and he knew good food). We shared a ton of good times together that I will never forget. I know we lost touch the last few years but you always meant a lot to me. Love you and miss you brother. Here are a few photos I found looking through my phone. My favorite one was the one doing bunker gear drills and he had his whole face covered with his hood.

We love you buddy and will miss you so dearly. You lit up our lives with your hilarity, compassion, kind heartedness, love, and joy. You slipped the surly bonds of Earth to touch the face of God. We´ll see you in the next chapter!
